We're Famous!

Today, FAU's chapter of Amnesty International was featured in the "back to school" edition of free weekly paper, Citylink. Thanks so incredibly much to Colleen Dougher for scouting me out, and writing the article!

Click here to read the story, "An F in Apathy". Click here for the related blog post on Colleen's blog, which features more in-depth interviews with Josef and me. Even though we were the only people quoted, and even though that wasn't exactly how we hoped it would turn out, we all know that you're all just as responsible for the club's successes as we are. I can't thank you all enough for making us the news-worthy bunch of kids we are today! ;)

And I can't thank Citylink or Colleen enough either...I'm ridiculously grateful for this vote of confidence from the journalistic community. They apparently think this activism stuff is pretty awesome, so we should all feel pretty damn good about that. I also think this kind of support is a sign of things to come: as Josef famously said in the article, "it's gonna be one hell of a year." :D
